Interim Controller

StevenDouglas is partnering with a client that is in search of an Interim Controller to support the day-to-day accounting and Controllership responsibilities through a new system implementation. This position is expected to be 2-3 months in duration with potential of extension and this individual would need to be on-site 100%.Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day accounting operations in a lean environment, including invoicingAssist with reconciliations of accountsPerform and oversee job costingPrepare management reporting and financial analytics, including cash flowReview payrollManage the general ledger activities and perform month-end closePartner with operations to understand job-level profitabilityRequirements:Strong exposure with Sage 100Bachelor degreePrior experience at an Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Controller levelAbility to be hands-on, execution focusedExperience in Job costing/project-based or service environmentsAbility to operate independently with minimal ramp up timeStrong communication skills and ability to work in a small, close knit team
