In this customer-facing role, you'll manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and ensure every caller receives exceptional service. If you're bilingual, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer and screen incoming telephone calls with professionalism and efficiency, taking accurate messages and providing helpful information to patients and membersSchedule appointments using our scheduling system while managing high call volumes and maintaining responsivenessDirect callers to the appropriate department or staff member to ensure they receive the support they needComplete intake information and verify patient eligibility to streamline the onboarding processGather and document patient information and concerns for assessment by appropriate healthcare providersRespond to routine information requests while maintaining call answer times and service quality standardsPrepare correspondence and documentation as directedServe as a liaison between patients/members and providers, ensuring concerns are properly escalated and addressedRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)Proven ability to manage high volumes of incoming calls while maintaining quality and accuracyExcellent customer service skills with a patient-focused approachStrong organizational and time management abilitiesProficiency with phone systems and scheduling softwareNice-to-Have SkillsPrevious experience in a healthcare or medical office settingExperience with electronic health records (EHR) systemsKnowledge of insurance verification and eligibility processesAdditional language proficiencyExperience with multi-line phone systemsWork ScheduleStandard hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This hybrid position offers flexibility while maintaining our commitment to excellent patient service.Why Join Us?As an Appointment Scheduler, you'll play a vital role in our organization's success.
