Veterinarian

Job Description An associate DVM that has 1-3 years of prior experience in urgent care or emergency medicine. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, have the ability to provide a flexible work schedule, and the availability to start as soon as possible. Job Duties are as followed:Advises animal owners on general care, feeding, sanitary measures, medical conditions and treatment options.Examines animals to detect and determine the nature of diseases or injuries.Collects body tissue, feces, blood, urine, or other body fluids for examination and analysis.Treats sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgery.Monitors pre- and post-operative care.Euthanizes animals.Attend lectures, conferences, or continuing education courses.*The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.Company DescriptionLocated in southern Maryland, La Plata offers a charming small-town atmosphere with easy access to big city amenities.
