Responsibilities

Designing fixtures for machining weldments
Blueprint reading and interpretation of CNC machining jobs
- Program management experience related to machine builds
Planning and Timelines
- Design experience with fabrications and machine builds
Fusion 360 a plus
- Understanding of program management concepts of
Timing – building timelines and plans at launch
Building BOM’s
Tracking progress to build plans
Understanding budgets and tracking to stay below or at planned costs
Working with the goal of staying on time and under budget
Prioritizes follow up
- Design Work
Assembly machines for part assembly – multiple parts
CNC machining fixturing
Welding fixturing
Plant project design work
- Quoting Assistance
Locating material costs
Determining labor costs
Outside vendor costs
- Understands the importance of following processes.
- Building BOM’s on major builds and understanding that the BOM must be complete prior to builds, understands the importance of maintaining the BOM throughout life of program
- Understands and willingness to do the work that needs to be done
With multiple projects if time is consumed on a particular day/week that overtime daily or time on the weekend is required. Pushing back project and quoting
- Keeping customers updated on program status with regular updates that are consistently met, not every so often or when prodded to do so
- Working with outside vendors to ensure they understand requirements – making requirements clear at the start and following up on timing at intervals
Interaction with outside vendors related to RFQ’s
- Ability to lead a team on one’s own and meet with management as well as support teams on the plant floor
- Experience meeting with customers and suppliers
- Ensuring all items required for a build are in house, accurate and ahead of build schedule
- Proficient with Microsoft applications
- Experience with and capable of handling and working on multiple projects
- Develops plans and timelines for achieving positive outcomes and meeting multi customer deadlines
Communicates roadblocks and potential solutions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
