Job DescriptionPlease Note- 2nd Shift (nights) 5pm-5amPurpose:The Multi Skill Operator has several primary purposes, including panel rework, skylight building, film embossing, and filling in on the production lines as needed. Cross training in various skills and positions to build bench strength is the ultimate purpose.Qualifications:Internal certification in safe use of forkliftsInternal certification in safe use of overhead cranesInternal certification in use of trash compactorAbility to use utility knife and common hand tools safelyAbility to read tape measure with decimal and fraction scaleAbility to use basic math skillsAbility to use Microsoft Windows and KBMPrimary Functions:Operate the cutdown coiler for reworking coilsConstruct skylight materials as neededMaintain 5S standards for all secondary operations areasAssist the lines with daily activities such as waste removal, 5S work, breaks, and TPM workSalvage b-grade panels using the offline shear or offline sawsCut cores for upcoming coil production runsSupply the Wet Ends of the lines with necessary raw materialsBreak down packaging materials and sort into waste and returnable itemsPrimary Film Embosser & Primary Reclaim Operator:Ensure the safe operation of film equipment by following all standard operating procedures and machine operating instructionsPerform all required pre-shift inspections to ensure safe operation of equipmentInput production data into necessary forms and recapsConduct quality inspections to ensure products meet or exceed quality specificationsMonitor the operation of the machine at all times while runningTroubleshoot problems as required, perform necessary line adjustments, and contact maintenance as neededMeet the production demands as listed on the production run sheet and the SupervisorPackage all finished products according to the packaging specificationsPerform TPM responsibilities on equipment as requiredMaintain 5S standards in the areaPIa7bf03b11763-26289-40854028
