Software Systems Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Software Systems Developer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will lead system architecture and end-to-end feature development while ensuring seamless integration across hardware and software platforms.Rate Range: $40/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Software Systems Developer Job Responsibilities IncludeLead end-to-end system architecture and feature development from concept through production, including upgrades and migration planning.Develop high-level network, wiring, and power distribution designs aligned with performance, quality, and cost targets.Create detailed technical specifications, requirements, verification plans, and safety/cybersecurity assessments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, integrate, and validate hardware-software system solutions.Analyze complex system issues and drive innovative solutions to improve performance, quality, and cost efficiency.Support testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of enterprise-level software and embedded system solutions.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field (master’s preferred).3+ years of experience in systems engineering and software development, preferably in automotive or embedded systems.Strong expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering, system architecture, and programming languages such as Python or C.Proven experience in requirements development, system validation (FMEA, verification plans), and cross-functional collaboration in complex technical environments.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
