Graduate Medical Education Faculty – Physician, Full TimeSaint Joseph Health System offers a full-time position for a Board-Certified Family Physician (American Board of Family Medicine or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians) to serve as Associate Director of the Family Medicine Residency at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center (SJRMC), Mishawaka, Indiana. The residency, established in the early 1970s, has grown to a 9/9/9 program with a one-year Sports Medicine Fellowship. The program, residents, and faculty outpatient practice are adjacent to the inpatient facility.Responsibilities:Provide direct administrative, supervisory, faculty, and clinical functions under the Program Director.Maintain clinical skills by caring for patients of all ages and maintaining Obstetrics competencies.Adhere to the Ethical and Religious Directives (ERDs) for Catholic Health Care Services.Requirements:Board Certified Family Physician (American Board of Family Medicine or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians).Full-time commitment for the specified period.Participation in an ECHO learning project connecting providers with specialist teams.Financial Benefit:$20,000 for a 2-year commitment.$40,000 for a 4-year commitment.The state of Indiana recognizes the service area as eligible for the Student Loan Repayment Program, providing up to $40,000 in loan forgiveness for qualified providers serving full time.Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: Trinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit Catholic healthcare systems in the nation, committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
