Sales Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team at Fenceworks Rental Systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong computer skills, and a comfort level with interacting with a high volume of customers. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth sales process and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with their fencing needs, including providing product information, answering queries, and guiding them through the sales process.
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately using our internal computer systems.
- Maintain and update customer records and sales data in our database.
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls and emails, providing timely and professional responses.
- Prepare and process quotes, orders, and invoices.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate with customers.
- Assist in managing inventory and ensuring that stock levels are maintained.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the sales team.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of prior experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably in a construction or customer-focused environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in business or sales-related fields is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other computer applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and transactions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with a high volume of customers effectively.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Candidate will need to pass E-Verify.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
