About the RoleSMPL Manufacturing is a rapidly growing company looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their experience with SMPL is seamless from first order to final delivery. You'll work cross-functionally with our production, fulfillment, and operations teams to keep projects on track and clients informed every step of the way. This is a great opportunity to grow with a company that values ownership, communication, and getting things done.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for assigned client accountsManage day-to-day communication with clients regarding orders, timelines, and project updatesCoordinate internally with production, quality, warehouse, and fulfillment teams to ensure projects move forward smoothlyTrack open orders, forecasts, and upcoming production needsHelp clients navigate production timelines, packaging decisions, and operational questionsMaintain strong relationships with clients and ensure a high level of serviceProactively follow up with internal and external partners to keep projects moving forwardFulfillment & Order CoordinationAssist with fulfillment onboarding calls for new clients, walking them through SMPL's fulfillment process, systems, pricing, and requirementsServe as the primary point of contact for client questions related to fulfillment, shipping, order flow, and logisticsHelp clients understand SMPL's fulfillment capabilities, timelines, and best practicesRespond to client questions regarding orders, shipments, inventory, and fulfillment processes in a timely mannerUtilize ShipHero and other internal systems to manage order flow, monitor inventory, and address client needs and requestsCoordinate internally with the fulfillment team to resolve fulfillment-related questions or issuesEscalate fulfillment or logistics concerns to the appropriate internal teams when necessaryInternal CoordinationTranslate client needs into clear internal action items for production, fulfillment, and operations teamsCoordinate with vendors and suppliers on timelines, sample requests, and order follow-ups on behalf of clientsEnsure project details, specifications, and timelines are clearly documentedMaintain organized records of client communications and project updatesSupport process improvements that enhance account communication and order flowQualificationsStrong organizational and project management skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneouslyComfortable working cross-functionally with operations, production, and warehouse teamsExperience with fulfillment or warehouse management systems; familiarity with ShipHero is a plusStrong attention to detail and follow-throughProblem-solving mindset with a proactive approachWhat Success Looks Like in This RoleClients feel informed, supported, and confident working with smplOrders and fulfillment run smoothly with minimal issuesInternal teams receive clear and timely communicationClient relationships grow stronger over time
