Senior PHP Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior PHP Developer with strong expertise in the Laravel framework to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and maintaining high-performance web applications, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and have a deep understanding of software development principles. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to analyze project requirements and propose effective technical solutions. Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework. Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data structures to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard the web applications against potential threats. Troubleshoot and debug application issues, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to improve performance and usability. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to foster a collaborative and learning environment. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in web development to continuously enhance your skills and contribute to the team's knowledge base. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven work experience as a PHP Developer, preferably in a senior role, with a focus on Laravel development. Strong proficiency in PHP, with a good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Laravel framework and its ecosystem, including Laravel Eloquent, Blade templating engine, and Laravel ORM. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Solid understanding of database management systems, particularly MySQL, and ability to write optimized SQL queries. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with agile development methodologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Knowledge of front-end frameworks/libraries, such as Vue.js or React. Understanding of software testing methodologies and experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit).
