KONE WORK CELL – 1ST SHIFTSummaryPerson in this position will pick and pack elevator installation kits, hardware, trough, and wire products as a kit and ship to customer. They will display the ability to work closely with others and as a team. Responsibilities listed below cover some of the significant duties performed, but do not exclude other occasional work assignments not mentioned.Position ResponsibilitiesPulls and assembles hardware, trough, and wire products according to the customer’s orderPackages material into boxes and onto skidsScans all material with a scan gun to verify accuracy and completenessAffixes appropriate labels and packing listsPrepares appropriate shipping documentsOperates a stretch wrap machine to secure boxes and reels to a skidOperates a forklift to load customer orders onto outgoing trucksAssists with cycle counts, physical inventories, and other inventory control activitiesPosition RequirementsHigh School Diploma; warehouse/distribution experienceEnglish: proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communicationGood physical condition, as you will be walking and standing the majority of the dayAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbove average forklift driving skills (may be taught)Attention to detail required in correct item and quantityMaterial identification is extremely critical to detect quality issuesBasic computer skills required to operate scan gun and shipping programs on computerBasic math skills required to count itemsInitiative needed to drive your own performance.
