Staff Software Engineer

Role: Staff Software EngineerLocation: Remote (US & Canada)Salary: $250k - $350k (plus equity)We're looking for top tier software engineers to join a rocket-ship startup who have been smashing it so far. They are growing at an incredibly fast rate and are likely going to be a multi-billion dollar company in the coming years!The RoleYou'll build systems to handle billions of text messages monthly using modern tech like Node.js TypeScript, AWS and AI workflows to solve real scalability challenges.We want a Staff Software Engineer with backend expertise to accelerate our shipping velocity as we continue to scale exponentially.You Bring4+ years of experience as a software engineer Excellent knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript Strong experience with AWS (especially SQS)Any frontend experience is a bonus (ideally React.js)You must have experience working for top startups or organizations with strong engineering orgs (or are an ex-founder) Top Engineering School background is also highly desirableWe are not looking for anyone who:Job hops frequently (1-2 years)Largely consulting backgroundRequires sponsorship Has been in a management role for 2+ years Isn't from a reputable startup or company
