We go the extra mile in everything that we do! Competitive pay and commission!!Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanics to join our team (MULTIPLE locations hiring). In this role, you will perform essential maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, focusing on tasks such as preventive maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and completing all associated paperwork. Please note: this role does not involve heavy engine or transmission repair.We Offer:Paid Time Off (PTO) & Paid Holidays401(k) w/company matchMedical/Dental/Vision & Employer-Paid Life/Employer-Paid Short-Term DisabilityOpportunity to develop professionally and advance within the companyTraining program: We are dedicated to ensuring all employees receive the training they deserveQualifications:Minimum 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience requiredValid Class C Driver's LicenseFederal Annual and Brake Inspector certification required (within 6 months of hire)Responsibilities:Conduct routine maintenance tasks along with documentationRepair and maintain heavy duty trucks and trailersPM Inspection, brake job, brake chamber and slack adjuster replacement, wheel seal replacement and wheel end adjustmentExamines all system parts looking for damage, excessive wear, loose bolts, broken welds, structural deficiencies, air leaks, oils leaks, stuck, frozen, or rusted parts, as well as safety devices on all types of trailersAccurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in timely fashionAccurately fills out work order forms, ensuring all parts are includedFollow safety protocols and company policiesSkills and Abilities:Ability to read technical manuals and instructionsStrong problem-solving skills and customer service-orientedMust be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment.Pass background check and drug screenWhy Join Us?
