Job DetailsDescriptionEssential Functions & Responsibilities:Work alongside our Service Advisor to greet customers, write repair orders, and estimate the costs of repairs within set guidelines.Work alongside our Service Advisor to manage the Technicians and schedule repairs to maximize work efficiency and quality of work performed.Work with customers on scheduling repairs in the shop.Check and review work in process and follow-up for completion as scheduled while exceeding the customer’s expectations.Inspect and, if necessary, road test vehicles upon completion of work to ensure quality of repairs are properly performed. (CDL required to road test)Manage daily activities of truck maintenance operation to ensure proper performance, repair, and safety of all truck equipment.Organize daily work and assign to shop mechanics.Review work completed to ensure compliance with company quality requirements.Hiring/recruiting qualified shop staff.Enforce all health and safety policies of the company.Record keeping, filing, and GPS tracking.Maintain Driver Vehicle Inspection Program.Required Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesMaintenance experience requested but not required.Demonstrated leadership skills.Detailed knowledge of shop industry.Work well within a team.Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.Demonstrated awareness of all health and safety protocols.Manage time efficiently.Effective multi-tasking.Attention to detail.Strong organizational skills.Basic computer skills.Able to read, interpret, and compose work orders.ITA OffersA robust, affordable and competitive health insurance package;Voluntary benefits, short term disability, long term disability, dental, vision, and Life; AFLAC voluntary benefits;401k.
