This organization serves diverse populations across San Francisco and is seeking a proactive, dependable professional to join their team.Job Description:The Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) provides direct support, advocacy, and case management services to residents, with a focus on housing stability, community engagement, and access to critical resources. This role requires a hands-on, action-oriented individual who can build strong relationships, take initiative, and maintain consistent, reliable performance in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide resident support through case management, including intakes, assessments, service plans, and ongoing follow-upConnect residents to community resources such as healthcare, public benefits, and social servicesPlan and facilitate workshops, events, and community programmingSupport housing stability by addressing lease-related concerns and assisting with conflict resolutionConduct wellness checks and provide advocacy for residentsBuild and maintain partnerships with local nonprofits and service providers (especially within San Francisco)Manage office hours, including both walk-ins and scheduled appointmentsLead group meetings and effectively manage group dynamicsMaintain accurate case notes, reports, and documentation in compliance with program requirementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Human Services, or related field (or equivalent experience)~2+ years of experience in case management, community services, or a related fieldStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse populationsHighly reliable with a strong work ethic, consistency, and professionalismAbility to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of community resources and public benefits (San Francisco experience preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with case management systems is a plusBilingual (Spanish/English or Cantonese/English) highly preferredAdditional Details:Ideal candidates may come from backgrounds in teaching, family resource centers, youth services, or adult educationOpen to recent graduates with ~2 years of experience who demonstrate strong initiative and leadership potentialRole requires strong boundaries, emotional intelligence, and the ability to balance empathy with accountabilityFor SRO environments: must be confident, resilient, and able to work with individuals who are homeless or formerly homelessCandidates should be comfortable managing challenging situations, enforcing rules, and maintaining professionalismReferences will be required and should speak to reliability, consistency, and work ethicPerks:Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the communityWork with a collaborative, mission-driven teamGain hands-on experience in case management and community programmingDevelop strong relationships with local organizations and service providersBuild valuable experience working with diverse populations in San Francisco
