Position Overview – Mental Health Specialist We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to play a vital role in our team. Your expertise will guide patients through comprehensive assessments, provide mental health counseling, and develop treatment plans that empower individuals toward emotional well-being. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth assessments to determine patients’ needs and strengths. Provide expert mental health counseling, offering guidance and support. Develop individualized intake and treatment plans tailored to patient goals. Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals to enhance care coordination. Maintain precise and timely documentation of assessments and progress. Offer compassionate support to patients and families during intake and counseling. Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications Fully Licensed in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Experience in conducting mental health assessments and identifying treatment needs. Strong understanding of evidence-based mental health principles. Patient Care Requirement Counselors are expected to dedicate 80% of their work time to direct patient care, within 60 days of their start date, ensuring a focused and impactful clinical practice. Work-Life Balance & Stability Full-time counselors work a set schedule, either four or five days per week, determined at the time of hiring—no unpredictable hours or last-minute changes!
