AI DeveloperBirmingham, ALOnsite (Fully Onsite, Contract-to-Hire)$45-$60 per hourABOUT THE ROLEBrooksource is seeking an experienced AI Developer to join a growing enterprise AI team in Birmingham, AL, on a fully onsite, contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for a strong software engineer-particularly someone with a Java, DB2, and SQL background-who is interested in expanding their experience into Generative AI and modern AI application development. You will work closely with architects, engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to design, develop, and support scalable AI-powered applications that leverage enterprise data and cutting-edge AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs). The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in software engineering, be comfortable working with data, and demonstrate a genuine curiosity and willingness to learn and adopt new AI technologies. This position offers hands-on opportunities to work with Python, LangChain, LangGraph, LLMs, RAG, AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, MCP, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, while leveraging your existing software development and database experience.
