Engineering Technician

*Engineering Technician* *Job #2026-0911* Intercomp is hiring a full-time Engineering Technician for Design & Continuation Engineering testing. *Responsibilities:* * Build and test new design prototypes * Build test wire and cable harnesses to support testing, including some soldering. * Perform testing on products or sub-assemblies and provide test reports (using Excel and Word). * Troubleshoot defective units from production and make necessary repairs. * Write assembly instructions for new product design releases. * Work with in-house computer systems to assist in new product release details such as entry of bills of material. * Work with in-house systems to process engineering change notices *Qualifications:* * Two-year technical degree (AAS) preferred. * 0-5 years’ experience or more as an engineering technician. * Basic knowledge with electronics. * Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools. * Experience with common lab test equipment such as multimeters preferred. * Experience with CAD preferred. * Experience with sensors preferred. * Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word preferred. * Experience with BOM’s/Routings in MS Business Central / ERP system preferred * Optional: Experience with PCB schematics and/or debugging PCBs.
