JOBQUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION:1. Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.LICENSURE,REGISTRY,ANDCERTIFICATION:1. License in vocational nursing2. BCLSPERSONALJOBRELATEDSKILLS:1. Effective oral and written communication skills.EXPERIENCE:Prior Work Experience:1. Two (2) years experience as a professional Licensed Vocational Nurse preferredTechnical Training:1. Current CPR certification.ESSENTIALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIESRATINGPrimaryResponsibilitiesforallhallsassigned :Utilizesthenursingprocess,completesacomprehensivephysicalandpsychologicalassessmentofpatients.1. Takes nursing histories to provide a basis for developing patient care plans.2. Provides a basic assessment needs of residents needs/desires3. Identifies teaching and learning needs with each resident to promote independence.4. Provides an ongoing assessment that accurately reflects needs and desires of residents5. Consistently uses input form resident, family, significant other, physician, and healthcare team members.
