Interim Controller

StevenDouglas Project & Interim Services has partnered with a private equity-backed manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Interim Controller with manufacturing experience to lead its consolidated accounting function from the company's Florida headquarters.This is a high-impact interim opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who can step in quickly, serve as a strategic partner to the CFO, and bring rigor to financial reporting, controls,and cost accounting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.What You'll DoDirect the enterprise accounting team, financial reporting, and internal controls for the manufacturing site to ensure GAAP compliance.Deliver accurate, timely consolidated monthly financial statements and corporate metrics, giving leadership and investors clear visibility into operational performance.Partner with plant leadership to optimize manufacturing cost structures, variance analyses, and inventory valuations.Lead preparation for annual external financial audits and coordinate corporate tax compliance activities.Monitor working capital, optimize cash flow, and track capital expenditure (CapEx) investments across the organization.What We're Looking For10+ years of progressive accounting leadership within a manufacturing environment (aerospace and defense experience is a significant plus).Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.CPA or CMA designation highly preferred.Strong proficiency with manufacturing ERP systems and experience operating within a private equity-backed, data-driven corporate structure.***If you're a manufacturing accounting leader who thrives in fast-paced, investor-backed environments, I'd love to connect.
