Software Engineer, JourneymanThe company is seeking a Software Engineer, Journeyman to provide SETA support in Hanover, MD.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and install software solutions.Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with DOD coding standards and technical design.Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications. Support and/or install software applications/operating systems.Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.QualificationsBachelor's Degree (computer science, information systems, software engineering, or computer programming degree preferred).Minimum of 6 years of experience as a software engineer within the DoD environment (preferred degree post-secondary education may be substituted for 1 year of experience. 2 years of industry experience may be substituted for 1 year of DoD experience up to 3 years)Security ClearanceActive DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required (Poly may be required)TravelSome travel may be required.Systek offers a very comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, life, and disability insurance and also offers a 401k plan, paid time off, service anniversary awards, and tuition reimbursement.
