Senior Systems Implementation Trainer

At Light & Wonder, it’s all about the games, and our Gaming team builds cutting-edge technology, products, and content for the most iconic casinos and operators across the globe.Position SummaryThe System Implementation Senior Trainer is a dynamic and experienced training professional with an advanced understanding of casino software systems and operations. As a System Implementation Senior Trainer he/she is responsible for providing advanced level software training services to LNW customers and internal employees, as well as providing recommendations on system utilization and efficiencies. Training services include, but are not limited to, supporting customer and employee use of LNW enterprise software and hardware, selected vendor computers and operating systems, and training programs. Additional services include, but are not limited to conducting business analysis and advanced follow-up training services.Essential Job Functions: Has a strong command of a core LNW product; with the ability to train and support said product, as well as an intermediate knowledge of at least two LNW cross-productsAbility to read, analyze, interpret, and apply all current and future systems training, installation, and user guide documentation of LNW products and interfaces supported by the Training DepartmentCreates, updates and maintains learning material, such as training agendas, course curriculum, job aids, training videos, PowerPoint presentations, user manuals, business process workflows, learning guides, quick reference guides, sign in sheets, evaluations and all other related learning materials for training classesConducts and interprets business and Gap analysis; documents and translates business processes into software functionality; configures the LNW Systems and customizes test scripts to fit casino business practicesAbility to prepare and setup environment for hands-on training activitiesDeliver advance instructor-led classroom training for both in-person and remote participants including customers and employeesIndependently delivers and supports Unit Testing, Super User Training (SUT), End User Training (EUT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and advanced follow up training and issues resolutionTrouble-shoot technical issues during training classes and project life cycle; identify solutions or workaroundsProvides go-live support in all areas of the casino, and ensures that software is performing properlyResponsible for mentoring, monitoring and evaluating entry level and lead system trainersActively participant in the continuous improvement process for curriculum, student classroom experience, and trainer effectivenessSchedules and facilitates training for internal and external customers on LNW Technology products Identifies, promotes and schedules future training engagements for customersCollaborates with cross-functional teams of technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units and acts as a liaison between the customer and LNWPerforms additional duties as assignedQualificationsQualifications:Training and/or Experience:Minimum of three years training, teaching or related experienceMinimum of three years technical experience preferably software relatedMinimum of two years casino operations, gaming experience and/or LNW System product knowledgeAccounting or Marketing experience a plusKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Visio)Intermediate knowledge of Atlassian JIRAIntermediate knowledge of Bomgar remote support softwareBasic SQL knowledge; ability to read/write basic queriesBasic knowledge of database engines, table structures and servicesBasic knowledge of networks, server architecture and infrastructureStrong technical, analytical and creative problem-solving skills, questioning and feedback skillsMust possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and passportAbility to secure and maintain gaming licensesMust have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)Must have multi-tasking experience and abilitiesStrong customer service skillsStrong grasp of adult learning practicesStrong problem solving and decision-making skillsMust have the ability to perform under stress and adapt to changesPublic speaking and presentation skills are a mustMust have strong interpersonal skillsThe ability to multi-task and prioritize is requiredExperience in leadership and mentoringEducation:Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business Administration, Marketing, Education or related field. Relevant equivalent work experience is acceptable in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.Physical Requirements: Ability to travel extensively.Work Conditions: The work conditions are representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizationsMust be able to travel 60% - 90% to perform job dutiesLNW are engaged in highly regulated gaming and lottery businesses.
