We're seeking a passionate and proactive leader to oversee daily operations, support a team of dedicated educators and ensure a high-quality learning environment for children and families. As Director, you'll uphold brand and licensing standards, lead staff development, implement our Wonder of Learning proprietary curriculum and build strong school-family-community relationships. This position will be located at our new Maple Lawn location at 7760 Montpelier Rd, Laurel MD. As a new school, your responsibilities will include growing enrollment, training new staff, and building a loving, caring, and extraordinary culture for families and staff.Nurture your growth. Apply today and become part of a supportive, purpose-driven team that is shaping the future—one child, one family and one educator at a time.Director Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Administration: Lead daily operations while upholding brand, regulatory and policy standardsStaff Management: Hire, train, supervise and support staff to build a positive, collaborative teamCurriculum and Program Development: Deliver our proprietary Wonder of Learning program*, designed to spark curiosity, support individual growth and inspire a lifelong love of learningFamily and Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with families and promote the School in the communityFinancial Management: Manage the budget, enrollment and resources for operational successHealth and Safety: Maintain a safe, clean and prepared environment for children, staff and visitorsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related fieldAt least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education and 1 year in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of child development, early learning best practices and team leadershipExcellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skillsA genuine love for children and commitment to high-quality educationMust pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements*Wonder of Learning is our exclusive education program designed to embrace how children learn best — through play and curiosity.
