Highly skilled QA Engineer that must think through all aspects of the project, able to create test cases, manually test, and create automated testing for features delivered. Our ideal candidate is a person that is technology minded who is looking to start a career in QA, Dev Ops or Software Engineering and willing to use this role as 1 to 3 year plan to get to that end goal. This is the entry level role that can then lead to three job family paths (QA Automation, DevOps Automation, Software Development).Duties & ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain tests for new and existing features of our productsDesign and execute manual test cases and test scenariosTrack defects and help troubleshoot errors for both user interface and API usersIdentify system malfunctions and register issues as bugs and user storiesCollaborate with Product Owner, product team, and vendors to ensure all bugs are completely fixedParticipate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, usability, or testing implicationsParticipate in Agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, iteration planning, demos, retrospectives, program increment planning, etc.Design and execute automated test cases and test scenariosPrepare and/or review end user and technical documentation generated for accuracy, completeness, and overall qualityDocument and report on trends/issues our users are experiencing to help identify potential solutionsStay up-to-date with the latest QA toolsOther duties as requestedRequirementsThis role is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Up to three days per week may be worked remotely in accordance with the telecommuting policy.Associates or Bachelors in Computer Science field is a plusExperience testing REST API calls using Postman and using defect tracking tools such as JIRAStrong Communication Skills RequiredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, Azure DevOps, QA Automation tools mentioned aboveUnderstanding of development processes and the full software development lifecycle; strong knowledge of Agile methodologiesExcellent process orientation, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the demonstrated ability to design effective business solutionsKnowledge of Bankcard industry and its proceduresBasys is an equal opportunity employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
