Full-Time Building Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Greater Providence, RI AreaCompensation: $25–$30 per hour, based on experience and skill setBenefits: Up to $1,000 monthly healthcare contributionWe are seeking a dependable and experienced Full-Time Building Maintenance Technician to support maintenance, repairs, and apartment rehabilitation projects throughout the Greater Providence area.This position is ideal for someone with broad construction and property maintenance knowledge who has previously worked with a General Contractor, Housing Authority, property management company, or private real estate firm managing rental apartments.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a variety of trades, including some combination of plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and apartment rehab work.Candidates must have their own tools, reliable transportation, a smartphone for tenant communication and work order management, and the ability to be bonded.ResponsibilitiesComplete maintenance and repair work in a timely and professional mannerPerform apartment rehabilitation and turnover workTroubleshoot and repair building systems and apartment-related issuesReceive and respond to tenant maintenance calls and requestsLog and update work orders using a smartphone or mobile applicationOrder, replace, and install parts or equipment as neededMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areasAssist with additional maintenance and construction-related duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious experience in general construction, building maintenance, or apartment rehabExperience working with rental apartment properties preferredBackground working for a General Contractor, Housing Authority, or private real estate/property management company strongly preferredWorking knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general rehab workFamiliarity with hand and power toolsStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyAbility to manage physical workload and lift/move materials as neededMust have reliable transportation and own toolsMust own and be comfortable using a smartphone for calls, texting, and work order managementMust be bondableAbout UsWe are a local, family-owned company with a small but highly impactful team looking for the right long-term addition to our organization.
