Role:- SAP BTP ABAP RAP DeveloperWork Location:- Tracy , CA( preferred PST/Remote fine)Mode of Hire:- Subcon/FTEVisa:- AnyJDSAP BTP ABAP RAP Developer Responsibilities?RESTful Service Development:Design and implement enterprise-grade OData services (V2/V4) using theABAP RAP framework , facilitating seamless communication between the SAP S/4HANA backend and modern front-end applications.?Business Object (BO) Modeling:Define and implement robust business objects usingBehavior Definitions (BDEF)andBehavior Implementations (BP)to handle managed or unmanaged transactional logic, including CRUD operations, actions, and determinations.?Advanced Data Modeling:Architect complex data models usingABAP Core Data Services (CDS) , incorporating annotations for UI positioning, search capabilities, and analytical features to drive Fiori Elements-based applications.?Clean CoreCloud Extensibility:ApplyABAP Cloudprinciples to develop side-by-side or developer extensibility solutions onSAP BTP ABAP Environment(Steampunk), ensuring the digital core remains upgrade-stable.?IntegrationEvent Handling:Implement asynchronous communication patterns usingBusiness Eventswithin the RAP framework and consume external APIs to orchestrate hybrid workflows across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.Note- A person with RAP and BTP Integration Suite experience will be ideal.
