Position: Field Service Technician
Field Service Technician.
Base pay range: $35.00/hr - $37.00/hr.
Location: Upper East Coast region (up to 50% travel). 100% travel may be required.

Overview
Field Service Technicians are responsible for an assigned territory and traveling to end users, dealerships, OEM’s, and our facilities nationwide to resolve customer issues. Must be able to work unsupervised in remote locations for extended overnight periods as necessary.
Responsibilities
Follow company and customer safety policies, quality and production procedures
Provide exceptional customer service and technical support of products
Manage all installs, removal, modification, repair, maintenance, test, and inspection tasks
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical or technical problems and determine proper solutions
Respond to service requests, providing technical service and maintenance support at assigned customer locations
Utilize vehicles, tools and equipment while following operating instructions and adhering to safety standards
Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals
Work safely with high pressure systems up to 5,000 psi
Lead field service repair teams during recalls and campaigns
Represent as POC at customer locations, help drive service sales, build relationships
Evaluate situations and determine the best way to proceed; keep customers informed of progress and status of repairs
Communicate and interact with customers and staff across multiple departments in a positive, courteous and professional manner to earn long-term relationships
Develop a thorough understanding of Agility’s products and all other makes
Complete and submit all paperwork/digital forms and reports in a timely fashion
Maintain current working knowledge of local and national codes where applicable
Capture Voice of Customer data whenever possible to help improve products/processes
Up to 100% travel with the ability to leave on short notice to meet customer expectations
Manage/maintain vehicle and on‑board inventory organization, audits, and transport tasks
Assist with shipping parts from assigned mobile inventory to customers as needed
Skills and Qualifications
SAE automotive certification or equivalent technical training is a plus
2+ years of work experience on Hexagon Agility, CCFT (Momentum), A1 Alt Fuels and/or other natural gas vehicle fuel systems; removing and replacing complete systems/individual components, conducting inspections, troubleshooting, diagnostics, upgrades and retrofits
Fluent in both English and French preferred
Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems
Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and written
Excellent time management and organizational skills to maximize effectiveness
Proficient working with Concur, IFS, Freshdesk and Microsoft Teams is a plus
Computer skills to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Positive attitude, works well with peers and support groups
Must provide your own tools (required tools list to be provided)
Must have experience/ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Must have experience/ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Must have a valid driver license, clean criminal background/driving record
Experience/ability to bend stainless steel tubing and replicate hard lines in the field
Ability to safely depressurize and defuel CNG and LNG fuel systems
NGVi (AFVi) or CSA tank inspector & Hexagon tank certifications
Experience conducting CNG tank repairs and proper condemnation

Physical Demands
Staff must walk and talk or hear, frequently stand, occasionally sit, use hands to reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must lift and/or move up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Smell ability is required; recognize the smell of various fuels.
