We are looking for a Software EngineerWe are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join a research team working on autonomous and unmanned aircraft systems. The role involves designing, developing, and testing advanced software solutions for defense and aerospace applications.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and test software applicationsDebug, enhance, and maintain existing systemsCollaborate with teams to define requirements and deliver solutionsLead or support development teams and code reviewsDevelop technical documentation, reports, and presentationsSupport CI/CD, DevOps, and system integration activitiesRequirements: Ability to obtain and maintain security clearanceBachelor's with 9 years of experience, OR Master's with 7 years, OR PhD with 4 years in a relevant fieldRequired Skills: Strong programming skills in C/C++ and PythonExperience with Linux-based development environmentsKnowledge of multi-threaded/distributed systemsExperience with containerization and CI/CD toolsUnderstanding of software architecture and system designExperience working on complex or autonomous systemsMust be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.Preferred Skills: Experience with unmanned systems (UAV/UAS)Exposure to defense or aerospace projectsActive or eligible for Security Clearance
