For more information, please visit www.andersonsinc.com.The Grain Operations Crewleader position is responsible for leading and performing operations tasks involving the receiving, storage, cleaning, packaging and shipping of grain.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform all grain operations tasks required at the facility that contribute to customer service, grain movement/storage and general facility upkeep. Assist with the coordination of all grain movement task at the facilityIdentify, monitor, and report safety and quality issues. Assist with identifying root cause and corrective action through the understanding of facility logistics, grain conditioning, and grain qualityAssist with safety committee meetings and morning safety talksTrain and onboard new operations workersComplete electronic data entry, reporting, documentation and correspondence to support operationsPerform Supervisor responsibilities in the absence of the SupervisorWhat is expected of you and others at this levelHas developed expertise, typically through a combination of job-related training and considerable on the job experienceTypically acts as a lead, coordinating the work of others, but is not a supervisorWorks autonomously within established procedures and practicesHas developed a specialized level of skill to perform assigned tasksCompetencies Expected Of You And Others At This LevelCustomer Focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
