These are seen throughout our interactions with customers, within the company, and in each of our employees’ everyday lives.Description of ResponsibilitiesMaintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policiesComplies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by staying updated on new legislationEnforces adherence to requirements and advises management on needed actionsControls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconcile with data storage systemMaintains physical condition of warehouse by inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacementAchieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures and analyzing variancesCompletes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employeesMaintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job resultsEvaluates resources and training needed for daily operation and makes adjustments as necessaryManages new hire process for operations, including interviewing new candidatesMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publicationsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededRequired Skills and ExperienceExpertise in warehouse management procedures and best practicesProven ability to implement process improvement initiativesStrong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databasesLeadership skills and ability manage staffStrong decision making and problem solving skillsExcellent communication skillsEmbodies Tube Supply values
