The firm delivers comprehensive tax compliance and advisory services to individuals and middle-market businesses.This role offers strong long-term growth, professional development, and flexible work options.Position SummaryThe Tax Manager will manage client engagements, oversee tax preparation and review, and provide planning and advisory services. This role works closely with partners and senior leadership while supervising staff and maintaining high service standards.The ideal candidate is technically strong, organized, and experienced in client management.Key ResponsibilitiesManage tax engagements for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trustsReview federal, state, and local tax returns and estimatesProvide tax planning and advisory support to clientsMaintain ongoing client relationships and communicationIdentify and resolve tax compliance and reporting issuesConduct tax research and prepare technical analysesSupervise and review work prepared by staff and seniorsAssist with engagement scheduling and workflow managementSupport billing, budgeting, and project timelinesStay current on tax law changes and best practicesContribute to internal process improvement initiativesQualificationsEducationBachelors degree in Accounting or related field (required)Graduate degree in Taxation preferredExperience5-7 years of public accounting tax experienceExperience reviewing complex tax returnsPrior experience supervising staff preferredCertificationsCPA required or in active pursuitSkills and CompetenciesStrong understanding of federal and state tax regulationsExposure to multi-state taxation preferredExperience with tax preparation and research softwareStrong attention to detail and accuracyEffective communication and client service skillsAbility to manage multiple engagementsProficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe AcrobatRequired Skills:
