We are a fast-moving startup tackling hard problems in cloud security, and we’re looking for engineers who want to build scalable, resilient systems at the heart of modern infrastructure.The RoleWe’re seeking an Experienced Cloud Engineer with strong experience in AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and infrastructure-as-code. You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our product and engineering teams. This role is hands-on: you’ll work closely with engineering to provision cloud environments, optimize Kubernetes workloads, and ensure reliability across our data and AI pipelines.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain AWS-based cloud infrastructure for multi-tenant SaaS workloads.Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (primarily EKS) with a focus on scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Helm, and Kustomize.Support and optimize data platform components including ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, and Kafka.Build and maintain observability for both traditional workloads and LLM-powered services (latency, token usage, drift, hallucinations, reliability).Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring, and alerting to improve operational reliability.Collaborate with security engineers to ensure infrastructure meets compliance and security best practices.Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.Requirements3–5 years of professional experience as a Cloud or DevOps Engineer.Strong proficiency with AWS services (IAM, VPC, EKS, S3, RDS, etc.).Hands-on experience running Kubernetes (EKS preferred) in production.Deep understanding of Terraform, Helm, and Kustomize for IaC and application lifecycle management.Familiarity with managing databases and distributed systems (ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Kafka).Knowledge of Golang (ability to read, debug, and make small modifications to services and tooling).Experience setting up observability for LLM services (metrics, tracing, evaluations).Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, containers, and cloud services.Experience with CI/CD systems and automation (GitHub Actions, Argo, etc.).Solid understanding of observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Groundcover, etc.).Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.Nice to HaveExperience with eBPF, cloud security, or runtime detection.Familiarity with modern data lakehouse patterns.Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS architecture and customer data isolation strategies.Why RAD Security?Opportunity to join an early-stage, venture-backed startup solving hard, meaningful problems in cloud security.High-impact role working directly with the CTO and founding team.Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits.Flexible remote-first culture with a focus on outcomes over process.
