Title: Certified OR Tech /Surgical Tech (Travel /Local) Location: North Providence, RI 02904 Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) Duration: 13 weeks (Extendable) Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a sterile environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures, including arranging instruments and equipment. Assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures by providing the necessary instruments and supplies. Ensure proper documentation using the MediTech system. Communicate effectively using the SBAR format to relay patient information and updates. Follow aseptic techniques and maintain a sterile field throughout the procedure. Participate in scrub and scope/probe reprocessing. Provide support and care to patients of various age groups, with a focus on adolescents and adults. Qualifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience or knowledge in trauma and community hospital settings is preferred. Required Skills: Proficiency in scrub techniques and scope/probe reprocessing. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques. Preferred Skills: Experience in trauma care within a community hospital environment.
