In addition to running your day-to-day desk of licensing and credentialing files, you will be responsible for reviewing the quality of documents received, credentialing requirements, and identifying gaps. We are looking for a self-motivated and confident person that will be proactive, ultimately creating an experience where working with us is easier than for the agency/client to work the process directly. As this is an agency and client facing role, your attention to detail and communication skills must be top notch.Key Responsibilities:Working with external customers, providers and internal partners, ensure the licensing and credentialing process is followed from booking to privileging
Manage the technology and databases for provider documents, ensuring data integrity
Provide guidance and assistance to agencies with client privileging requirements by ensuring follow-up and communication at a high service level
Maintain knowledge of state licensing standards for individual provider types
Attend client credentialing meetings, preparing updates for the client on files and providers in process
Request updates from licensing boards on providers to update clients and the technology
Manage and professionally escalate applications or other requirements that are untimely from the provider or client side
Manage and professionally escalate provider licensing requirements that are untimely from the provider
Identify gaps in providers being credentialed and credentialing requirements where a provider may not meet minimum qualifications
Communicate timely, professionally, and efficiently with all required parties.
Anticipate problems before they occur to ensure resolution
Travel for required in-person meetings
Deliver on commitments and timelines
Facilitate training when requested
Other credentialing duties as necessary
Qualifications and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of licensing in an agency, MSP, or health system, preferably in Locum Tenens
2+ years of credentialing in an agency, MSP, or health system, preferably in Locum Tenens
Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook and other web-based applications
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
Skills:
Process-oriented mindset, focusing on optimizing workflows and maintaining consistent standards
Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in workload management/prioritization skills
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced team environment
Proven time management and prioritization skills focusing on urgent and overlapping deadlines
Willingness and ability to offer positive contributions to a remote and/or in-person company cultureCompensation:
