Details Stepdown/Immediate Care Unit in a hospital setting Patient population includes stepdown, progressive care, and telemetry-level acuity, which can vary significantly Typical patient ratio of 1:4, with flex to 1:5 in emergency situations Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), weekdays with some weekends required Blocked schedules will be considered for weekend-only blocks (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon) EMR: Cerner Requirements Active WV or Compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience required; 2 years of Stepdown experience preferred Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips required Proficiency with IV insertion and telemetry monitoring required A copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Minimum of 2 manager or charge nurse references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information 13-week contract with possibility of extension First-time travelers are welcome to apply Scrubs are not provided; burgundy and/or white scrubs are required Holiday RTO requests are limited to no more than 2 of the 4 major holidays American Traveler Job ID P-681686.
