Discord Community Assistant (US Only)

Picture Yourself on the Team As a Community Assistant at SuperJoy Studios, you will support the Lead Community Manager in fostering a meaningful relationship between Fortnite Creative Players, SuperJoy Studios, and SypherPK. You will also assist in managing and engaging our diverse Discord community, providing live events support, and contributing to player feedback and support. This role requires strong organizational skills, a passion for gaming, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Discord Management Support Assist in creating and facilitating Discord servers for SuperJoy Studios and SypherPK. Help drive engagement, inform users of new products and events, and build genuine connections within the community. Event Coordination Support the planning and execution of live events, contests, and other community initiatives. Assist in recruiting & coordinating volunteer moderators, drafting event rules, and managing the sign-up process. Community Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive community culture by promoting constructive discussions and encouraging creativity. Enforce community guidelines and server rules consistently and fairly. Player Support: Respond promptly and professionally to user reports and inquiries, assisting and resolving conflicts as needed. Share player feedback with the game development team to help improve the user experience. Quality Assurance: Assist in testing new SuperJoy maps to ensure thorough coverage of all features and user scenarios. Help oversee the playtesting process, ensuring it provides actionable feedback for continuous improvement. Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support to the Lead Community Manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing communications. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High-school diploma or equivalent Entry-level role, preferably 1-2 years of work experience in Community Management Expert understanding of Discord and its moderation tools. Passion for Fortnite and Fortnite Creative with a strong understanding of its gameplay and mechanics Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, and TikTok is a plus Previous experience with Game Playtesting is a plus Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to handle conflicts and diverse opinions with patience, empathy, and professionalism Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
