Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance
Work Schedule: Onsite, Full-time, Monday–Friday
Role Overview:
In this role, you will support the Government Lead in daily engineering operations across classified, unclassified, and coalition network environments. You will architect, design, deploy, and maintain multi-level LAN/BAN/WAN infrastructures supporting voice, video, mobility, and secure communications. You will lead VoIP engineering efforts, integrate identity and access management solutions, and ensure secure, resilient network operations in alignment with DoD standards.

Specific Skillset
Perform LAN/BAN/WAN administration, schedule network conversions and cutovers
Evaluate and design communication hardware and software; troubleshoot complex network issues
Architect and maintain multi-level secure network environments across classified and coalition domains
Design and integrate identity and access management (IAM) solutions including Active Directory (AD), LDAP, Rights Management Services, and PKI-based two-factor authentication
Engineer and support Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions including integration of servers, switches, routers, and TACLANE configurations in support of DISA VoSIP
Design Layer 3 switching environments and auxiliary voice VLAN configurations
Configure and maintain PSTN interfaces, fax modules, and voice system components
Manage hardware, software, and scheduling for secure videoconferencing across DON, DoD, Federal, and commercial networks
Develop and manage IP addressing schemes and perform IP address management
Develop customized multivendor solutions utilizing Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, Fortinet, and related technologies
Design, develop, and operate application networking ports, routing protocols, and LAN services in accordance with Information Assurance (IA) standards
Requirements:
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree required (may be substituted with additional relevant experience)
DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III certification required (CISSP, CASP+, CISA, CCSP, CCNP Security, GCED, OR GCIH)
ITIL certification preferred
Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) preferred
Fortinet Certified Network Security Professional (FCNSP) preferred
Juniper Networks Certified Specialist – Security (JNCIP-SEC) preferred
Certified Modeling & Simulation Professional (CMSP) preferred
Experience Requirements
7–10 years of progressive network engineering experience
Experience supporting DoD or Federal Government enterprise networks
Experience operating within secure, multi-domain network environments
