Maintenance ManagerThe Maintenance Manager leads facility upkeep, ensuring efficient operations, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvements. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and a commitment to driving performance while fostering a safety-focused culture. Key Responsibilities:Oversee maintenance, repair, and system upgrades while managing vendor relationships.Lead and develop a skilled maintenance team, ensuring operational efficiency and growth.Monitor and optimize budget performance and maintenance KPIs such as cost per pound.Maintain compliance with USDA, HACCP, and industry sanitation standards.Supervise large-scale maintenance projects and facility rebuilds.Technical Skills:Facility Maintenance & Operations Managing repairs, upgrades, and vendor coordination.Equipment & Systems Knowledge Expertise in mechanical systems, refrigeration, electrical wiring, and PLC programming.Regulatory Compliance In-depth understanding of HACCP, USDA sanitation guidelines, and pre-operation checks.Financial Management Experience in cost analysis and budget oversight.Technical Problem-Solving Skilled in welding, pneumatics, motor controls, and other maintenance techniques.Soft Skills:Leadership & Team Building Ability to mentor, guide, and motivate direct and indirect maintenance teams for operational success.Communication & Adaptability Clear communication, flexibility, and the ability to collaborate across departments.Integrity & Work Ethic Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical decision-making.Hands-On Approach Willingness to be on the plant floor, teaching, observing, and mentoring.Results-Driven Mindset Focused on optimizing performance, reducing costs, and improving maintenance strategies.
