Vice President of Sales - Value Based Care

POSITION: Vice President of Sales FULL-TIME/PART-TIME: Full Time LOCATION: Onsite Circadian Health offers bundled heart & rhythm, respiratory, endocrinology and sleep health solutions to risk bearing entities. Our network of cardiologists, pulmonologists, endocrinologists and boarded sleep doctors provide on demand virtual care, from initial visit, to diagnosis, to prescribing and ongoing care. Our bundles include access to an array of in-home diagnostic testing and sleep aid products and ventilation equipment to help identify and treat emerging heart and respiratory diseases. GENERAL SUMMARY The Vice President of Sales, Value Based Care is responsible for selling to new plans, achieving new business development annual revenue targets, staying abreast of the changing government landscape and communicating pertinent information to the sales or other internal Circadian teams, supporting clinically where and when appropriate. QUALIFICATIONS 10+ Years of Health Care Experience Required 5+ years of relevant experience with Value Based Care Plans 5+ years of management experience BA/BS degree in health care, business, finance or related field Results-oriented individual with dedication and passion for our mission Deep understanding of health systems and how they operate including, but not limited to commercial and government business lines. Preferred Education Master’s degree preferred Preferred Experience Excellent attention to detail and project management skills. Excellent written/oral communication skills required. Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people. Physical Demands Requires normal visual acuity and hearing. Typically, employees sit comfortably to do their work, interspersed by brief periods of standing, walking, bending, carrying papers and books, and extensive periods requiring the use of computer terminals to accomplish work objectives. Required to sit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and manipulate keys on a keyboard. Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location, department or line of business. Working Conditions Predominantly operates in an office environment. Some work (less than 5%) requires moving and lifting of heavy networking equipment. DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Each Employee consistently demonstrates the following essential functions: Obtain sales and revenue targets Maintain active reporting on key revenue targets, pipeline, forecasting, objectives and key results for the Value Based Care Sales Team. Develop relationships with Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Supplemental Plans and Group Medicare plans throughout the managed care market and structure financially viable services contracts. Identify and manage large segment growth opportunities in adjacent verticals: long term care, disability insurance, provider organizations and other wholesale distribution partners. Support specific national accounts that will be assigned, that are either sold or in the near-term contracting phase and work collaboratively with client success to expand within the various membership groups. In partnership with legal and compliance resources, provide up to date information and guidance to the sales team on government rules and regulations that impact Circadian products and services. Leverage experience and understanding of broad healthcare landscape to stay abreast of evolving health system, payer, employer, and direct to consumer landscapes, both domestically and internationally. Drive new sales/upsells with new/current clients through consultative interactions to understand their near- and long-term goals and needs, and ensure Circadian’s product pipeline matches those needs. Assist in the development and refreshing of the enterprise specialty care strategy and roadmap; work with Product Development teams to ensure Circadian products deliver a scalable solution that drives value for clients and customers in order to retain and grow existing clients and drive new sales. Attends and participates in departmental meetings. Attends seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence. Ensures all department compliance guidelines are met. Follow evidence base standards of medical care through adherence to existing policies and procedures. Attends all meetings, in-services training, or continuing education as delegated by the supervisor. Provides customer focused interactions. Performs all duties necessary for the department as per department policies and procedures. Performs other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor within the scope of practice and the responsibilities in the department.
