There are no limits to where you can take your career.Job SummarySupport and maintain a variety of advanced production equipment, including 5-axis CNC machines, centriguges, polishing machines, and other precision systems. This roles includes preventative and corrective maintenance.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on 5-axis CNC machinery and other production equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software issuesSupport troubleshooting of advanced CNC systems including spindle assemblies, rotary axes, drives, sensors, and motorsConduction routine maintenanceMaintain accurate maintenance logs and work order documentation (SAP)Assist with machine installation, alignment, calibration, upgrades, and improvements as neededCoordinate with planner and team lead to maximize downtime and stabilize throughputFollow all GKN Aerospace safety, regulatory, and environmental proceduresAll other job duties as assignedJob QualificationsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical schooling preferred1+ years of industral equipment maintenance experienceStrong communication skills and ability to work within a teamWillingness to work 1st shift with occasional flexibilityPreferred QualificationsExperience with 5-axis CNC maintenance including high-speed spindle systemsKnowledge of Heidenhain controls or similar CNC platformsStrong diagnostic ability in multi-axis systemsFamiliarity with CAM-related machining workflowsSAP experienceComputer proficiency for documentation and machine parameter managementAbility to read and interpret schematics and technical documentationPhysical RequirementsStanding and walking at least 7hrs/dayAbility to carry and lift weight up to 25lbsBending, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling required at least 2hrs/dayUse of hands for fine dexterity, light and strong grasping at least 7hrs/dayWe'll offer you fantastic challenges and amazing opportunities.
