Software/Firmware Engineering Program Manager (EPM)The Software/Firmware EPM leads all engineering activities required for development testing and production release of software and firmware used with Client Labs' products. This is a high-impact position that is directly responsible for successful execution of critical revenue goals.Key ResponsibilitiesBe the point of contact within Client for all matters relating to software/firmware programsOwn the on-time, on-spec, on-budget and with high-quality delivery of firmware and software components from concept through production release; manage maintenance releases as requiredSet and drive execution of the software/firmware release roadmap using Agile and waterfall methodologies as appropriateDecompose work product into epics, stories and sprints and manage execution and delivery thereofProgram planning, schedules, budgeting, risk assessment, resource planning and management, and tracking related program activitiesReview, disposition and communicate changes in scope / schedule / expenseConduct regular meetings to ensure cross-functional teams are clear on expectations and problem-solving actions are in place to address issues in a timely mannerMaintain adequate technical depth and managerial skill to address program and product issuesBe the champion of your programs and maintain management and key stakeholder alignmentCollaborate with the team to ensure customer expectations are exceededActively contribute to organizational development and process improvement initiativesJob RequirementsBachelors' or Masters' Degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering10 or more years of relevant experience in software development in an electronics product or semiconductor companyHands-on experience in development of software and/or firmware deployed provided to customers and/or deployed in a production environmentProficiency in one or more high-level programming languages such as C/C++, Python, JavaWorking knowledge of software development flow including IDE/toolchains, testing, versioning, and release management5 or more years of experience as a Software Program Manager, Scrum/PMP certification is a plusExperience working on software or firmware for PCI-E, memory or data communication productsTechnical appreciation of hardware engineering flows and interaction between hardware, firmware and softwareProgram management and analytical skills, ability to organize information for internal and external consumption.Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookExpert knowledge with Atlassian Tools and JIRA Scrum Methodologies as well as using work breakdown structure to identify objectives and milestones.Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and other program management toolsAble to motivate and energize teams and lead by influence in a matrixed organizationAble to take timely decisions with limited or incomplete informationStrong communication skills and the ability to keep calm and make progress in high stress situationsAbility to travel to Client Labs' sites as requiredAbout Us:InterSources Inc, a Certified Diverse Corporation, was founded in 2007, to offer innovative solutions to help clients with Digital Transformations across various domains and industries.
