Hired Adjunct Instructors would be teaching courses that help our students complete their General Education Humanities requirement for graduation; which are also part of our Arts, Literature, and Philosophy minor curriculum. Specifically, the department seeks adjunct instructors to teach: Introduction to Literature; Introduction to the Humanities; Medical Humanities; Technology, Society, and Values; American Literature, among others.Teaching Modality: Appointments may include courses offered online, in person on campus in an alternative format responsive to state and local requirements .Location: The primary campus locations include the Klamath Falls campus, the Portland-Metro campus (located in Wilsonville, OR), and online. Teaching may be conducted remotely/online, within the United States.Candidates interested in adjunct teaching positions should apply online and submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a list of three references with contact information. Your credentials will remain active as long as the pool position is available but no more than two years. After two years, if you are still interested, you must reapply to the most current adjunct pool.Minimum RequirementsAdditional RequirementsMaster's Degree or higher in Literaure or related field.Experience teaching at the college level.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis at the time of hire; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or other employment-based immigration support.
