Eibach, Inc. is a leading Performance Suspension Manufacturer located in Corona, California. Eibach engineers, tests and manufactures high performance suspension products including; sport, lowering, and motorsport racing springs, sway bars, shocks, coilovers, hub-centric wheel spacers, and high-performance engine valve springs for the performance aftermarket we well as private label customers.
JOB STATUS: Full Time and Exempt
POSITION REPORTS TO: CEO (Directly), COO (Directly), Board of Directors (Indirectly)
JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY: Controls all aspects of the accounting department, financial reporting, tax compliance and international group reporting.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
BA in Accounting/Business Administration or equivalent is preferred.
Licensed Certified Public Account (CPA) preferred.
Financial audit experience preferred, including, but not limited to, independent external audit or review of financial statements, internal audit, financial statement consolidation, or international compliance reporting.
Experience with bank financing negotiations and covenant compliance reporting.
Tax return review or preparation, including, but not limited to, US corporate tax, California sales & use tax, county personal property tax, or individual income tax.
Some payroll administration and processing experience.
Some College Course work and/or a minimum of 8-10 years relevant work experience will be considered.
Proficient in full-cycle accounting.
Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
Organizational skills.
Communication skills essential-Ability to build both internal and external business customer/vendor relationships.
Ability to effectively collaborate across multifunctional teams in diverse departments, i.e. executives, board of directors, sales and production.
Microsoft Office literate Ex. Word, Outlook, Excel (V-Lookup & IF formulas, pivot tables, etc.), Accounting/ERP Programs.
Excellent oral and written communications English skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
Strong Leadership Skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Coach and lead accounting team to execute objectives
Complete month-end, year-end close and financial statements
Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process by providing requested general ledger schedules and responding to transaction inquiries in a timely manner.
Prepare custom financial reports to international stakeholders
Provide annual consolidation report to international parent company. Collaborate with external auditor to prepare financial report with foreign compliance disclosures.
Maintain a beneficial relationship with servicing bank, and provide quarterly financial reports to comply with financing covenants.
Negotiate bank loan contracts for capital investments and overall operations.
Present accurate cash & budget forecasts to executives and monitor actual performance.
Perform manufacturing overhead cost analysis.
Train staff members on various accounting topics such as GAAP principles and financial analysis.
Responds timely and professionally to requests for information both internally and externally.
Regular and prompt attendance per assigned schedule.
Regular attendance at company meetings when requested and involvement and interaction in the meetings.
Keep management informed of all activities, including timely preparation of reports.
Assist in writing, developing, and implementing new procedures to improve the accounting department.
Ability to build both internal and external business customer, vendor, and teammates relationships.
Track the progress of monthly operations and goals.
Evaluate employee performance and identify training needs.
Coach and support new team members.
Ensure that all teammates adhere to company polices and guidelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Management
Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
Develop financial and tax compliance strategies.
Oversee the operations of the accounting department (AP, AR, Accounting Clerk), including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the company's goals and objectives.
Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner.
Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable.
Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly.
Ensure that monthly bank and credit card reconciliations are accurately calculated and posted to the general ledger.
Manage corporate debt position and ensure that required payments are made by due date.
Maintain record of capitalized fixed assets and calculate monthly depreciation expense using Sage Fixed Asset software.
Maintain the chart of accounts.
Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
Develop and implement new accounting systems and processes as needed.
Reporting
Issue timely and complete financial statements.
Coordinate the preparation of annual review reporting.
Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations.
Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.
Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts.
Provide for a system of management cost reports.
Provide financial analyses as needed.
Prepare and file California quarterly sales and use tax returns.
Prepare and file annual 1099 tax forms.
Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Report annual fixed asset record to Riverside County for business asset tax assessment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Typically sits for extended periods at a desk and in front of a computer.
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and lift (up to 20 lbs.) for short periods of time.
Repetitive movements – Data Entry hand movement on keyboard, phone call handling.
While performing this job, an employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
COMPENSATION: Salary to commensurate with experience and qualifications

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
