This position includes both shop fabrication work and field support as needed. We are seeking dependable, safety‑minded individuals who are willing to travel and committed to high‑quality workmanship.Position OverviewThe Metal Shop Technician will fabricate commercial roofing metal components in the shop, assist field crews with metal installation, and support job‑site operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, experience with metal fabrication equipment, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Key ResponsibilitiesFabricate and prepare commercial roofing metal materials in the shopOperate metal fabrication equipment including brakes, shears, and cutting toolsAssist roofing crews in the field when neededInstall and repair metal roofing components, flashing, coping, trim, gutters, and related systemsLoad and unload materials and maintain organized work areasFollow OSHA and company safety guidelines at all timesTravel to job sites as neededRequirementsExperience in commercial roofing and/or sheet metal fabricationWillingness to travelAbility to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditionsReliable transportation and strong work ethicAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid driver's license preferredCompensation & BenefitsPay based on experienceWeekly payCompany‑paid health insurance after 90 days401(k) with company match up to $500 annually40 hours PTO per year$25,000 company‑paid life insurance after 90 days of employmentEqual Opportunity EmployerJolly Roofing & Contracting Co., LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
