This role focuses on advanced data analysis, automation, and reporting to drive informed decision-making at leadership levels.The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.Key ResponsibilitiesData Analysis & InsightsAnalyze large, relational datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and performance gapsTranslate raw data into actionable insights to support leadership decision-makingIdentify degraders, shortages, and operational inefficienciesSQL DevelopmentWrite clean, efficient, and production-ready SQL (Amazon Redshift, Oracle SQL Developer)Utilize advanced SQL techniques (CTEs, window functions, complex joins, aggregations)Optimize queries for performance and scalabilityTroubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies across multiple data sourcesData Quality & ValidationImplement automated validation checks (row counts, duplicates, completeness, integrity)Ensure accuracy and consistency of data before reportingIdentify and resolve root causes of data inconsistenciesAutomation & ETL ProcessesSupport and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflowsBuild automated processes for data ingestion, transformation, and validationImplement scheduling/orchestration tools (cron, AWS services, Airflow, or equivalent)Ensure processes run without manual interventionScripting & Process AutomationDevelop scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShellAutomate data pulls, file processing, and pipeline validationIntegrate scripts into end-to-end workflowsReporting & DashboardsDevelop and maintain automated reports and dashboardsSupport daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirementsEnsure reports are accurate, consistent, and delivered on scheduleBenefitsHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife Insurance401(k) Retirement Plan with matchingPaid Time OffPaid Federal HolidaysRequired QualificationsU.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a Secret ClearanceBachelor?s degree in a technical field (Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related)Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related fieldStrong experience working in sensitive or controlled data environmentsAdvanced SQL proficiency (Amazon Redshift, Oracle preferred)Experience with large, relational datasets and data structuresStrong understanding of joins, aggregations, and query optimizationExperience troubleshooting data discrepancies and ensuring data integrityFamiliarity with ETL processes and data pipelinesExperience building recurring reports and dashboardsStrong attention to detail and data validation skillsPreferred Qualifications3?6 years of post-college professional experienceExperience with predictive analytics or modelingProficiency in Python or R for data analysisExperience with automation tools and scheduling frameworksExperience supporting executive-level decision-making$81,000 - $95,000 a yearA salary commensurate with background and experience will be offered.SteerBridge Strategies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
