Job Summary
Skilled tradesman responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair and refurbishment of assembly equipment used in Tier 1 automotive manufacturing.
Job Duties
Perform mechanical repairs to Fanuc robots
Perform jig adjustments to assembly geo fixtures as directed by Process and Quality engineering
Repair WIP racks as needed for assembly operations department
Provide rigging support for in-house engineering projects
Repair / refurbish conveyor pallets as needed for assembly operations
Machine tooling using manual lathe and vertical milling machine.
Fabricate tooling as needed to support assembly operations
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Ability to interpret OEM repair manuals for assembly components and equipment
Ability to read blueprints, electrical and mechanical drawings
Ability to weld steel, aluminum using MIG, TIG
Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to work in a team environment
Education and Experience
High School diploma
Minimum 3 years’ Millwright experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in manufacturing environment
Associates degree in Machine Tool Technology preferred
AWS welding certification preferred
