This role requires applying CHEERS at every table using conversation, awareness, and product knowledge to anticipate needs, create ease, and build sales. Serving at Parry's is a sales role supported by hospitality, not a transactional job.Responsibilities + DutiesApply CHEERS at every table:Cheerful Prompt Greet: Greet guests promptly, introduce yourself, and set expectations for the experienceHospitality First: Prioritize the guest experience over task completionEngage Guests: Build rapport through conversation (e.g., "Have you been here before?" or "What brought you in today?")Ease Their Needs: Anticipate refills, pacing, boxes, sauces, kid needs, and celebrationsReady for 'Em: Manage section flow, table turns, and communication with Hosts and Service ManagersSwipe That Card Say Goodbye: Close the experience with gratitude, an invitation back, and clear payment executionGuide guests through the menu by explaining how it's laid out and highlighting signature items and drinksMake thoughtful recommendations and upsell naturally based on guest preferencesIdentify first-time guests and regulars and adjust service accordinglyCommunicate guest insights to teammates (celebrations, preferences, timing needs)Maintain cleanliness, pre-bussing standards, and sanitation throughout the shiftComplete opening and closing duties accurately and on timeQualifications + SkillsRestaurant or serving experience preferredComfortable selling and making recommendationsStrong verbal and nonverbal communication skillsAbility to work nights and weekendsAble to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs. as neededProfessional, energetic, and guest-focused demeanorWillingness to learn and apply coaching in real timePerks + BenefitsFlexible schedulingOngoing training and career growth opportunitiesDiscounted meals (50% off!)401(k) with company matchHealth benefits, including medical, dental, and vision - available to eligible full-time employees
