Job DescriptionThis position is grant funded. Therefore, it is solely dependent on availability of grant funds.Serves as front line laboratory operator. Prepares testing room with proper equipment, performs blood draws, and conducts standard patient testing. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.Fulfills administrative duties, including registering patients, answering phone calls, processing and communicating test results, maintaining specimen collection log, organizing and filing results, and maintaining inventory for office and lab Performs blood draws, orders tests, and ensures information is entered accurately. Conducts blood draws from homebound patients when needed Disinfects and sanitizes lab and office areas, including all equipment and furniture. Must attach copy of the certification to your application.Valid Texas Driver License.
