Description & RequirementsThe Healthcare Reimbursement team delivers specialized expertise in Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting, wage index reviews, and related services through regionally aligned practice units. With deep local knowledge, we help providers navigate complex regulations with precision and compliance. From accurate data analysis to strategic insights, Forvis Mazars offers tailored support that reflects regional nuances and maximizes reimbursement outcomes.What You Will Do:Contribute to a variety of financial, operational, and compliance projectsAssist in the preparation and review of annual Medicare and Medicaid cost reportsSupport special projects related to:Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) paymentsMedicare Bad Debts and Cost Report Settlement issuesContribute to state-level Medicaid projects, including:Hospital supplemental payment programsMedicaid reimbursement analysis and reportingConduct research on healthcare regulations and reimbursement policiesAnalyze financial and operational data using technology tools and data visualization platformsParticipate in ongoing training and development to build expertise in healthcare finance and compliance Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field1+ years of relevant experience in healthcare accounting or healthcare reimbursementProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications:Master's DegreeCurrent and valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license#LI-OKC, #LI-TULSA#LI-KH3About Forvis Mazars, LLPForvis Mazars, LLP is an independent member of Forvis Mazars Global, a leading global professional services network.
