Physician Assistant

Company Description Busy thorsacic surgery practice in Palm Beach County. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Physician Assistant at our Thoracic Surgery Practice located in Palm Beach County, FL. As a Physician Assistant, you will collaborate closely with thoracic surgeons and healthcare teams to provide patient care. Your responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, assisting in surgical procedures, preparing patients for surgery, and managing preoperative and postoperative care. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, educating patients on surgical procedures and recovery processes, and responding to patient inquiries with professionalism and care. Qualifications Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and surgical practicesProficiency in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planningSkilled in assisting during surgery and performing minor medical proceduresExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patientsStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple prioritiesMaster’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant programCurrent certification as a Physician Assistant and state licensure in FloridaExperience in thoracic surgery or a related specialty is preferred but not requiredCommitment to maintaining patient safety and delivering high-quality care
